Child safety standards
LitoAI maintains zero tolerance for child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSAE) and for any content or conduct that puts minors at risk. These standards apply to every LitoAI feature: chat, voice, images, video, memory, and agents.
Last updated: August 5, 2026Absolute prohibitions
It is prohibited to use LitoAI to create, request, share, transform, or facilitate child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualizes minors, whether real, generated, or fictional.
It is prohibited to use LitoAI for grooming, sextortion, trafficking, sexual contact with minors, harassment of minors, or instructions to commit or conceal any of these behaviors.
How we enforce this
Age restrictions enforced on the server: the account's age determines which features are available, and that decision is taken in our code before the request runs. It does not depend on the AI model choosing to behave, or on how the request happens to be worded, so it holds identically in every language.
Accounts belonging to people under 18 cannot edit or AI-transform photographs of people, request images of themselves, generate video, or use custom personalities. Those features are closed entirely for those accounts.
Automated image review: we analyse every uploaded image, every image used as the basis for an edit, and every image we generate. We reject sexually explicit content and any sexualised image of a person who does not appear to be an adult, across all accounts. We also refuse to AI-transform the image of any person who does not appear to be an adult. The analysis runs on the image itself, not on the words of the request.
If a safety check cannot run, the operation is refused rather than allowed to continue.
Filters on request text, and an internal ledger of safety blocks for review.
Upon a violation we close the account, preserve the necessary evidence and, where appropriate, report to the competent authorities and specialized organizations, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) where we confirm child sexual abuse material.
No automated system is perfect. These measures reduce risk, they do not eliminate it, which is why we keep the reporting channel open and review what reaches us.
Minimum age and teens
LitoAI is not directed at children under 13; we ask for the date of birth at sign-up and, if it is under 13, we disable the account automatically at that moment. The date of birth cannot be changed once recorded. Age is self-declared: we do not verify identity or use documents.
Users aged 13 to 17 receive an experience with additional content restrictions and must not use LitoAI for sexual, violent, or high-risk conversations.
Where we cannot determine an account's age, we apply the minor restrictions to it until the age is established.
How to report
You can report any response or generated content directly from the app using the Report option on the message. A report deliberately shares that selected response for review; automatic safety alerts themselves contain no chat text or conversation link.
For urgent child safety reports write to safety@litochat.com: it is our designated child safety point of contact.
If a minor is in immediate danger, contact emergency services or your competent local authority first.
